These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Gameathon website, mobile applications, games, tournaments, wallet services and other services provided by Gameathon NG, trading as Gameathon (“Gameathon”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing the Gameathon website or using any Gameathon service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not create an account or use Gameathon.
Gameathon is a peer-to-peer competitive gaming platform that allows users to play skill-based games against other players.
Depending on the games, competitions and features available in your location, Gameathon may allow users to participate in matches, tournaments and other competitions that involve entry fees, rewards or other monetary transactions. The games and features available to you may change from time to time.
Gameathon is not responsible for making every game or feature available in every location. Certain features may be restricted based on applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements or platform policies.
You must meet the minimum legal age and any other eligibility requirements applicable to Gameathon in your location before creating or using an account.
By creating an account, you confirm that:

You need an account to access certain Gameathon features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure — never share your password, verification codes or other account credentials with anyone.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you have promptly reported unauthorised access to us. We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, cheating, unauthorised access, a breach of these Terms or a violation of applicable law.
You may only maintain an account for yourself unless Gameathon expressly permits otherwise. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, claim promotions more than once or avoid an account restriction is prohibited.
Gameathon may require additional information before allowing certain features to be used, including identity, age, payment or other verification information. You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and current.
Where verification is required, Gameathon may temporarily restrict deposits, participation, rewards or withdrawals until the required verification has been completed. If information provided to us is false, misleading or belongs to another person, we may restrict or close the account.
Gameathon provides games designed for competition between players. The rules of each game may vary — specific rules, time limits, scoring systems, match conditions and winning conditions may be provided within the app or on the Gameathon website. You agree to follow the rules applicable to each game.
A match result may be determined by the Gameathon game system, the official game server or another authorised Gameathon system. Gameathon may review a result where there is evidence of a technical problem, cheating, manipulation, fraud or another event that could have affected the outcome.
Gameathon is built around fair competition. You must not:
If we determine that a player has cheated or manipulated a match, we may cancel the affected match, withhold related rewards, reverse transactions where appropriate and take further action against the account.
Certain Gameathon games, matches or tournaments may require an entry fee or other form of monetary participation. Where applicable, the amount required to enter a competition will be displayed before you confirm your participation — review it carefully before joining.
By confirming participation, you authorise the applicable amount to be deducted from your available Gameathon balance or through the payment method made available for that transaction.
Gameathon does not guarantee that you will receive a reward from every match or competition. Participation in a competition does not create a guarantee of income or profit.
Gameathon may provide users with an in-app wallet for recording eligible balances, rewards, deposits, entry fees and other transactions. Your wallet balance is a record of the funds or rewards associated with your Gameathon account — it is not a bank account.
Certain balances may be subject to conditions before they can be withdrawn. Gameathon may place a temporary hold on a balance where we are investigating fraud, a disputed transaction, an incorrect result, a chargeback, account abuse or another legitimate issue.
We may correct an account balance where a transaction was incorrectly credited, incorrectly deducted or resulted from a technical or administrative error.
Where deposits are available, payments must be made through payment methods supported by Gameathon. You must only use a payment method that you are authorised to use.
We may decline or delay a transaction where we identify a security concern, payment failure, suspected fraud or other issue requiring review. Gameathon may use third-party payment providers to process transactions — their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Gameathon is not responsible for delays caused by a bank, payment provider, telecommunications provider or other third party outside our reasonable control.
Where withdrawals are available, you may request a withdrawal from your eligible Gameathon balance using the withdrawal method provided by Gameathon. Before processing a withdrawal, we may require identity, account or transaction verification.
The minimum withdrawal amount, processing times, applicable fees and available withdrawal methods may be displayed in the app and may change from time to time.
We may delay or reject a withdrawal where:
We will not intentionally withhold legitimate eligible funds without a valid reason.
From time to time, Gameathon may offer promotions, bonuses, giveaways, referral programmes or other rewards. Each promotion may have its own terms and eligibility requirements. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
Gameathon may cancel a promotion or remove a promotional reward where there has been fraud, abuse, manipulation or a breach of the applicable promotional terms.
Online games depend on internet connections, devices, servers and other technology. If you lose connection during a game, the result may depend on the rules of that particular game. Gameathon will not automatically refund or reverse a match simply because a player experienced a poor internet connection.
However, where a confirmed Gameathon technical failure materially affects a competition, we may review the affected match and take reasonable corrective action, including restoring an entry fee, cancelling a match or correcting a result where appropriate.
If you believe a game result is incorrect, you should contact Gameathon support within the period stated in the applicable game or competition rules. We may request information needed to investigate the issue.
Gameathon may review server records, game logs, transaction records and other relevant information when investigating a dispute. Our determination following a reasonable technical review will apply unless applicable law provides otherwise.
You may stop using Gameathon at any time. We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account if:
Where appropriate, we may give you an opportunity to resolve the issue before taking further action. If an account is closed, eligible funds will be handled in accordance with applicable law, these Terms and the circumstances leading to the closure.
Gameathon is intended for entertainment and competitive play.
Gameathon may introduce tools that allow users to restrict or manage aspects of their account activity. If you believe your use of Gameathon is becoming difficult to control, stop playing and contact Gameathon support for information about available account restrictions.
The Gameathon name, logo, software, website, designs, graphics, interfaces, text, game systems and other content provided by Gameathon are owned by or licensed to Gameathon and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use Gameathon only for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease or commercially exploit Gameathon's intellectual property without our prior written permission.
Gameathon may rely on third-party services for payments, identity verification, hosting, analytics, communications, authentication and other functions. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for services that are operated independently by third parties, although we will take reasonable steps to work with relevant providers where an issue affects your Gameathon experience.
We aim to keep Gameathon available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Gameathon may occasionally be unavailable because of:
We may modify, suspend or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gameathon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
You remain responsible for using the service lawfully and for taking reasonable steps to protect your account and device.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of Gameathon, fraud, intentional misconduct or material breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms when Gameathon changes, when legal or regulatory requirements change or when we introduce new features. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
The updated Terms will be published on the Gameathon website with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Gameathon after the effective date of updated Terms means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Your use of Gameathon is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information.

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Gameathon and the services provided in the relevant jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage users to contact Gameathon support so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Nothing in this section removes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection or other applicable laws.
